Exercises box — one per line, weight 0–100
(0 = off, a 100 line is drawn 10× as often as a 10 line):
maj251 Eb 100 | pattern in a key (patterns defined in the box below) |
chord Bb9 100 | single chord, any symbol |
custom "my lick" "Dm9 G13 C6/9" 100 | fixed symbols shown verbatim; the name is the revealed answer |
Patterns box — define your own: name Label = Roman chords.
Degrees I…VII of the major scale with optional b/#
(bII7, #Idim7); whatever follows the degree is printed as-is
(IIm7b5 → IIm7♭5). Example:
myturn My turnaround = IIIm7 VI7b9 IIm7 bII7 Imaj7,
then weight it in the exercises box: myturn Bb 80.
Keys use #/b (C, F#, Bb…). Lines starting with # are comments.
The preset pills below overwrite the exercises box — difficulty levels first,
then famous players' favorite changes, then non-jazz styles.
Tap the card, press Space, or use ◀/▶ (or ←/→) to move; ◀ scrolls back through
everything shown this session. auto-next is seconds per chord symbol —
at 1.2, a 3-chord exercise advances after 3.6 s (0 = off).
copy share link packs both boxes into a URL — opening it loads the lists
(e.g. your teacher sends you the week's list).
